With over 60 years of orthopaedic surgical experience, Doctors J. Lynn Smith, Dennis Gordon, and Ross Jarrett, PA-C, take pride in being a comprehensive resource to their patients. Dennis Gordon, M.D.

Dennis Gordon, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Maryland after receiving his B.S. from Utah State University. He completed both his internship and residency at the University of Utah Medical Center, and his orthopaedic surgery residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He has served on both the USOS Executive Committee as well as the AAOS Liability Committee. Dr. Gordon has been certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1975.

J. Lynn Smith, M.D.

J. Lynn Smith, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Utah. He completed an internship at the University of Oregon, and then returned to the University of Utah to fulfill his residency of orthopaedics. He previously was at St. Mark’s Hospital and Cottonwood Hospital, where he served as President of the medical staff from 2003 through 2005. Additionally, he has served on the AAOS Board of Councilors since 2002. He has been certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1972.

Ross Jarrett, PA-C

Ross Jarrett, PA-C, received his Physician Assistant Certificate from the University of Utah in 1993. He graduated in 1984 with a B.S. in Health Sciences. He has extensive experience in Orthopaedic Surgery, providing First Assist Surgery and Patient Care at Pioneer Valley, St. Mark’s and Cottonwood Hospitals. He also has experience in both Industrial Medicine and Urgent Care. He is a fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants.

James D. Burrows M.D., F.R.C.S. (C)

James D. Burrows received his medical degree from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1983.  He completed an internship at Scarborough General Hospital, and then went on to the University of Alberta, where he completed residencies in general and plastic surgery.  Dr. Burrows has practiced privately on the campus of Pioneer Valley Hospital for over 13 years.  He is board-certified plastic surgeon, specializing in the hand and wrist.

Bret Winter, M.D.

Dr. Bret Winter received his medical degree from the University of Kansas in 2002. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine, and then went on to Mammoth Lakes Hospital, where he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Trauma. Dr. Winter's medical approach is focused on treating the whole patient. Professional interests and areas of specialty for Dr. Winter include sports medicine, arthroscopy, and orthopaedic trauma cases.

David Witter, M.D.

Dr. Witter received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2002. Following medical school, he went on to complete a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ohio State University in 2006, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Witter's practice is focused on diagnosing and treating disorders of spine, nerve and musculoskeletal structures. He has extensive experience performing spinal injections and EMG/nerve conduction studies. As a physiatrist, Dr. Witter's goal is to decrease pain and enhance functional performance without surgery.
